Jeff Barnes Named Solicitor to Lower Township MUA

(North Wildwood, NJ) Attorney Jeff Barnes of the law firm of Stefankiewicz & Barnes has been named Solicitor to the Municipal Utilities Authority (MUA) of the Township of Lower, New Jersey. In this role, he will advise the Authority on all legal issues related to day-to-day business operations, contracts, and compliance. The MUA oversees the provision and infrastructure of public water and sanitary sewer service to residents of Lower Township.

This appointment comes on the heels of Barnes serving as “Special Counsel” to the MUA for a number of years. Indeed, Barnes is experienced in working with Lower Township and other municipalities in southern New Jersey in a number of areas, including general business matters and real estate/land use law (zoning and planning, variances and permitting).
